Who is the Prize Fighter Inferno?

The Prize Fighter Inferno is a side project Claudio Sanchez has worked on for years and occasionally releases a CD or EP. An EP is a short CD of five songs or less. He makes this project mostly by himself and is meticulous about it being perfect before the public hears any part of it. If you have learned much about Claudio so far you know this project has to have a story as well.

This is the first and only CD he has made so far in his project. The title of this album is "My Brother's Blood Machine". It was released in 2006. If you remember from "In Keeping Secrets" there is a verse "Sincerely written from my brother's blood machine" that relates to this album. So even though that album was written before this was released it still connects.
The story of this album happens before the events of the Amory Wars in the same universe. The main character of this story is Jesse. The first song of this album is called "The Going Price For Home" and its about how he hit her and now she is gone and he is searching for her. The second song I want to talk about is "Wayne Andrews, The Old Bee Keeper". This song is very interesting because it doesn't have that many lyrics to go off from. The song is about how he loves a girl, but she doesn't love him anymore. She is on her deathbed and he lets her slip into death so that he can heal and move forward.

This is his latest music available to the public but it is only an EP titled "Half Measures". Presently this doesn't feel connected to a story. Yet it is unlikely that there is no story to this music. The first song on this EP is "Elm Street Loverboy". It is one of the best tracks on this EP entertaining the idea of Freddy from "Nightmare on Elm Street" being misunderstood in his way of trying to get Nancy's attention. So in this song it is a love letter that he wrote to her to meet her in her dreams.
The second song I want to talk about is "Erizo Schultz". This song is about death and the tombstone that sits above your body. He also talks about the funeral and how people cry out as the breeze blows through the room. Even though the song is about something so sad the tune of the song is up beat and happy.
